Beauty Boost: Tips to Keep You Looking Fabulous Longer!
-
π Spray Tan: Keep Your Bronze Beautiful
Before Your Tan:
- Skip the Shave: No shaving 24 hours before (48 if waxing). Give those pores time to chill!
- Scrub-a-Dub: Exfoliate well, especially on elbows, knees, and ankles.
- Moisturise: Apply lotion the night before to keep your skin silky smooth.
- Clean Slate: Arrive makeup, deodorant, and perfume-free.
- Brows & Lashes: Tint 48 hours before or after your tan to avoid any weird reactions.
Right After Your Tan:
- Loose Clothes, Don’t Care: Wear loose, dark clothes (hello, onesie!).
- Stay Dry: No water, sweat, rain, or spilling tea/wine!
- Avoid Tight Spots: No tight clothes or sitting on light fabrics.
- Hands Off: No makeup, moisturizer, or deodorant while your tan sets.
Shower Time:
Shower after 1-4 hours, depending on how deep you want your tan. Your tan keeps developing up to 12 hours after rinsing – so trust the process!
Keep Your Tan Glowing:
- Pat, Don’t Rub: When drying off.
- Moisturise: Morning and night with oil-free lotion (grab yours at Jax-Glam Beauty!).
- Short Showers: Avoid long, hot baths or showers.
- Careful Shaving: Use a sharp razor and shaving cream.
- Gently Exfoliate: When your tan starts wearing off, for an even fade.
Heads Up!
Hormones, certain products, and meds can affect how your tan develops – so if it’s streaky or lighter than expected, you might know why!
Keep the Glow Going: Moisturise like a pro, keep away from pools, saunas, and anything oily.
Now go out there and rock that glow! π

?? For the First 24 Hours, Please Avoid:
- Heat exposure: Sunbathing, steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, or very hot showers.

?? For the Best Results:
- Exfoliate & moisturise daily (starting 48 hours after treatment) to prevent ingrown hairs and keep your skin smooth.
- Be patient with re-growth: It’s normal to see some hairs reappear after a week. It may take 3–4 regular treatments for your hair to sync into a consistent growth cycle and for longer-lasting smoothness.
